IPL5 lastly ended in a posture showing the talents of the upcoming youngsters from all the 9 teams provided; awarding them with rising awards. "Mandeep Singh" of Punjab kings xii finally received the rising star award.
This IPL was proved to be one of D best among D remaining IPL seasons by the awesome showoff shown by ABDivilliers, Peterson, Chris Gayle, Shewag, Gambir & Rahane. The seniors also proved themself showing 100% of their performance like Kallis, Dravid, David Hussey and many more.
All the 9 teams equally competing to pass in Qualifiers putting their time,strength in each & every match struggled much to get into Qualifiers. Finally Delhi, KKR, Mumbai qualified for the Qualifiers. Luckily gaining momentum in the last before match of league matches, CSK went through the Qualifiers. Later on
Delhi guys losing some confidence were lost in the 2 matches (Q1,Q2). The chennai boys winning the eliminator match with Mumbai were threwn into the Finals along with KKR.
The final was an outstanding thriller ended in the last over with two balls left. The confident strokes of Bisla & Kallis made the win easier to the next batsmen of KKR. The final runs were gained by Manoj Tiwary.
The IPL5 season ended with the outstanding performance laid by Sunil Narine, Morney Morkel, Dale Steyn, Malinga, Balaji and many others.
It was the final day of IPL5 that made a new winner of IPL , the Kolkotta Knight Riders owned by the Badshah SRK. SRK was unstoppable on this day enjoying his first win of their 5 IPL seasons.
